I have a very urgent prayer request not only for you but for those all who are interested to help. Since the day before yesterday, March 2-4 (today) Muslim fundamentals in the Western Ethiopia aggressively started violence and burned 6 of our churches and 4 of other evangelical churches. They also burned 15 Christians’ houses letting them lose every thing they possessed. Government officials in that area are encouraging to do so. Federal government is investigating the case but the funny thing is that they couldn’t stop them. They are still burning and destroying churches. All church members are scattered fleeing to protect themselves and their families. Please pray for this area and the people and forward this message to churches and interested individuals. If any church or individual is interested to help these people we highly appreciate that.
지난 사흘 간 (3월 2-4일) 이디오피사 서부지역에 사는 강경파 무슬렘들이 폭력을 휘두르기 시작하여 우리 교단 교회 6 개와 타교단 교회 4 개에 불을 질렀습니다. 나아가 15 명의 그리스도인 집에 불을 질러 그들이 소유한 모든 것을 소실시켰습니다. 이 지역의 관리들이 무슬렘들이 그렇게 하도록 부축이고 있습니다. 중앙 정부가 이번 사건을 조사중이지만 우스운것은 중앙 정부조차 이 사건을 정지시키지 못하고 있다는 사실입니다. 무슬렘을 여전히 교회에 불을 지르면서 파괴하고 있습니다. 교인들은 자기 자신과 가족을 보호하기 위해 흩어져 도망 중 입니다. 이 지역과 이 지역의 그리스도인들을 위해 기도해 주십시요. 또 이 편지를 교회와 다른 그리스도인들에게 포워딩 해 주십시요. 이 지역 그리스도인들을 돕기 원하는 교회와 개인을 기다립니다.
