We trust you are encouraged in the Lord.
It seems like only yesterday we were saying “Merry Christmas” and “Happy New Year” for 2012 and now we have walked to the threshold of 2014 without realizing 2013 has passed us by.
We had one of our best Christmas and New Year celebrations as for the first time in years we had a wonderful family time.
It was such a blessing, despite having to go through Seong’s painful operation for thoracic ascending aorta.
The wonderful thing is that God has spared Seong’s life again and we are overflowing with thankfulness for this.
Now we have a new day, with new thoughts and minds desiring to share the Gospel of Christ! Wonder what God has for each one of us this year! Whatever lies ahead, it is great to know that He holds our future in His hands, and He will keep us in His mercy and grace. So, each day is a new gift from God, and His mercy and grace is poured out upon us as we trust and depend on Him.
As we go about our days, we have asked God to direct us in the choices we make and to empower us for the ministry we are to do for the Mihi Tribal People. We will acknowledge that God is always with us and we will keep Him first in everything we set out to do for Him. We are trusting to follow moment by moment, day by day the leading of the Holy Spirit Who causes us to enjoy every day of our lives.

We want you to know how much we have appreciated your prayers over these past months for Seong’s recovery.
We met the vascular surgeon with Seong’s CT Scan, Blood Test results and ECG etc…on Friday 31st January.
The result of the medical checkup brought a good report.
The sternum in Seong’s chest and the graft of the ascending aorta have healed well.
Hence no further operation needed up to 5 or 10 years as long as the blood pressure is well controlled.
Dr. said we can go back to the field but it is important we have the descending aorta checked every 6 months or at least once a year.
Now we are excited to go back to the field for our hearts are with the Mihi people and we long to be with them. Pray with us for God to meet our needs as we prepare to leave Cairns and return to PNG. Thank you so much for your part in our lives and His ministry.
Our prayer is to keep resting in Him and we are excited to see what wonders God performs throughout 2014.
Trust you are resting peacefully under His wings.
